Renowned Pakistani writer, host, and satirist, Anwar Maqsood, has refuted the rumors surrounding his purported abduction.
Speculation regarding Maqsood’s kidnapping had been rife on social media platforms in recent days. However, Maqsood has categorically dismissed these rumors as groundless in a video released in his signature humorous style.
Responding to the circulating reports, the esteemed author urged his fans to disregard such falsities.
He clarified, “I neither maintain any presence on social media nor do I follow it. Individuals have been calling me and apprising me of news regarding my alleged abduction.”
Dismissing all unfounded claims, he further remarked, “I not only reject such rumors but also condemn those who propagate them without verification.”
