Islamabad: Shah Rukh Khan, the renowned Bollywood actor, shared insights into his personal journey during a recent speech following his Best Actor award win for the film ‘Jawan’ at the Zee Cine Awards in Mumbai.
His speech resonated widely across social media platforms.
Acknowledging the recognition after nearly a decade, Khan expressed gratitude towards his team for the success of his recent films.
Reflecting on a challenging period in his career, he candidly admitted to feeling disheartened when his films struggled at the box office four to five years ago, leading him to take a hiatus from acting.
During this time, Khan revealed that he spent quality moments at home with his children, engaging in activities such as baking bread and making pizzas.
However, this period coincided with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which persisted for several years, reshaping daily life and routines.
In 2023, Khan made a triumphant return to the big screen with the blockbuster movie ‘Pathan’, which broke records at the box office.
Following the success of ‘Pathan’, his film ‘Jawan’ was released, surpassing even the former’s box office performance.
To cap off the year, Khan’s third hit film ‘Dinky’ was released, further solidifying his stature as a leading figure in Bollywood.
