Feroze Khan recently shared a heartwarming picture with his son on social media, while it seems Aliza Sultan has chosen to deactivate her social media account.
This comes after the couple’s tumultuous legal battle over the custody of their children, which eventually led to an out-of-court settlement.
The public response to this settlement has been mixed, with many expressing concern for the well-being of the children caught in the midst of their parents’ dispute.
There’s a prevailing sentiment that in the ego-driven conflicts of divorced couples, it’s the children who ultimately suffer the most.
Feroze Khan and Syeda Aliza’s separation occurred in September 2022, triggering a prolonged legal struggle over custody.
This legal battle persisted for around eighteen months until a settlement was finally reached through mutual understanding. The news of this settlement was disseminated by YouTuber Ayaz Brohi.
Per the settlement terms, Feroze Khan will now have custody of his son, Sultan, while Aliza Sultan will retain custody of her daughter, Fatima. Both parents are obligated to keep each other informed about the health and well-being of the children.Â
Additionally, Feroze Khan has agreed to provide financial support amounting to 75,000 PKR per month for the upbringing of Fatima, as well as covering the schooling expenses for both children.
The settlement marks a resolution to a challenging chapter in the lives of Feroze Khan and Aliza Sultan, but it also raises broader questions about the impact of divorce on children and the role of parental responsibility in ensuring their welfare.
