In a Samaa podcast, Naeem Hanif, the bureau chief of Samaa TV, shared some insights about Pakistani celebrities performing at the Ambani pre-wedding events in London. He mentioned that both Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performed, drawing a larger audience than a Rihanna concert.
Regarding Atif Aslam’s performance fee, Hanif speculated it to be between 2 to 2.5 lakh dollars, noting that he also received generous gifts from the Ambani family like other wedding attendees.
Hanif also discussed how the Ambanis organized these events in London to include Pakistani artists, emphasizing their significance for the family and the reason for hosting the events overseas.
