Aamir Khan Eyes Sequel: “Sarfarosh 2” in the Works After 25 Years
Superstar Aamir Khan expressed his longstanding desire to create a sequel to his iconic movie “Sarfarosh” and emphasized the team’s serious intent in pursuing this endeavor.
Marking 25 years since its release, the film, directed by John Matthew Matthan, holds a special place in Khan’s career and in the hearts of audiences.
Khan revealed, “I’ve been urging John for years to consider ‘Sarfarosh 2’. The way the first film concluded left room for a sequel, and John has informed me that he’s working on it.” He assured fans of their commitment to craft a compelling script for the sequel.

Released on April 30, 1999, “Sarfarosh” garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success. Khan reminisced about the film’s impact, expressing gratitude for the enduring love and appreciation it has received over the years.
Reflecting on the film’s relevance, Khan highlighted its portrayal of the challenges faced by law enforcement officers. He recalled the positive feedback received from police personnel, affirming the film’s authenticity in depicting their profession.
