Netflix’s latest series, Heeramandi, is earning widespread acclaim as a stunning work of art, crafted with remarkable excellence. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the series boasts a compelling storyline, exceptional performances, and opulent sets.

Pakistani artists, actors, and celebrities have shown significant interest in Heeramandi due to its historical ties to Lahore, Pakistan. Recently, renowned designer and accomplished actor HSY expressed his thoughts on the series.
On Dawn News’ show ‘Aap Ki Kahani’, hosted by Deepak Parwani, HSY shared the characters he would have loved to portray in Heeramandi.
HSY discussed Heeramandi by saying, “It’s a good question because the show is highly complex and currently much talked about.
Many people relate to it, while others do not, and some feel a sense of ownership over it, leading to critical discussions. “I would have loved to play the character of Tajdaar’s father in the show, as that character is multi-layered.”
“Despite having fewer scenes, his betrayal is unforgettable. Another role I would have liked is the Nawab who leaves Bebo Jan for someone else. This character also has twists, showing love for another and then abandoning that love due to family values. It would have been an amazing character to portray. While people say the series is complex, I believe it is well narrated.”
