Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Teaser Trailer Goes Viral
Activision unveiled the first teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Wednesday.
The teaser depicts a clandestine mission under cover of night to deface Mount Rushmore in the United States with the phrase “The Truth Lies,” coinciding with the name of the website that leaked the teaser.
Presented on a vintage television with six channels, the clip hints at the game’s title, offering buttons for play, pause, fast-forward, and rewind, but only the first channel showcases the teaser, leaving the others blank.
The retro TV appearance has sparked speculation that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 may be set during the Gulf War. Amidst rumors, Microsoft, now the owner of Activision Blizzard, is said to be considering a June announcement for the game’s release date, possibly integrated directly into Game Pass.
However, there has been no official confirmation from the company, leaving eager fans awaiting any updates on the game’s launch. The series’ previous installment, Modern Warfare III, released last year, failed to generate significant traction.
