In a recent interview on Sabih Sumair’s YouTube channel, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar addressed the issue of injustice faced by writers when channels alter their scripts without consent, particularly referencing the situation with “Ishq Murshid.”
In response to the query about the writer of “Ishq Murshid” claiming that the drama’s ending was changed without his approval, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar expressed his disdain, labeling such actions as cruel and disrespectful towards the writer.
He emphasized the importance of discussing any necessary changes with the writer and seeking their input rather than unilaterally altering their concept.
He vehemently condemned those who engage in such practices, considering it as detrimental to the integrity of the project and showing disrespect to the creative process.
