The final episode of popular drama ‘Mehroom’ aired on Thursday, leaving fans divided.
While some viewers accepted the ending, many were disappointed.
Fans who followed Zaira and Saad’s love story were particularly upset that Zaira ended up forgiving Umair easily.
One fan expressed, “By accepting Umair, Zaira has given the message that girls don’t have any self-respect.” Many felt sympathy for Saad, whom they considered the true hero.
Critics argued that if Zaira was meant to end up with Umair, the writer shouldn’t have glorified Saad’s character. Despite the mixed reactions to the storyline, fans praised the acting of all cast members.
