Notably, the phenomenon has now reached the Korean music scene, with renowned K-pop artists also partaking in the trend, as evidenced by a viral video of them lip-syncing to the song.
Despite its immense popularity, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s rendition of ‘Akh Lali Badu Badi’ has been removed from YouTube. The song had garnered a staggering 28 million views in just two months.
In terms of earnings, model Vijdan Rao, who featured in the song, asserts that ‘Badu Badi’ amassed over $70 million, highlighting its commercial success.
