Renowned Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor recently revealed the rationale behind her prolonged hiatus from the entertainment industry. The elder sister of actress Kareena Kapoor, Karisma, remains etched in the memories of fans for her stellar performances in the 1990s.
Having starred in numerous iconic films such as “Raja Hindustani,” “Dil To Pagal Hai,” “Biwi No. 1,” “Andaz Apna Apna,” “Gopi Kishan,” “Judwaa,” “Hum Saath-Saath Hain,” “Jaanwar,” “Dil Hai Tumhaara,” “Shakti,” “Mere Jeevan Saathi,” and “Rishtey,” Karisma Kapoor’s acting prowess has left an indelible mark on audiences.
After her lead role in the 2006 film “Mere Jeevan Saathi,” Karisma resurfaced in the 2024 release “Murder Mubarak.”
Addressing her nearly two-decade absence from the limelight, Karisma Kapoor cited her priority as a mother to her young children.
In an interview, she expressed, “I made a conscious decision to step away from the glitz and glamour because my children were in their formative years.
As a mother, preserving those precious moments was paramount to me. It’s a choice each individual has to make, and for me, that was the path I chose.”
