Juhi Chawla, longtime co-star and business partner of Shah Rukh Khan, reminisced about his early struggles and rise to fame.
She recalled that during Shah Rukh’s initial days in Mumbai, he didn’t have a home there and used to travel from Delhi.
He would share tea and meals with the film crew, seamlessly blending in despite his hardships. Juhi mentioned how Shah Rukh juggled multiple shifts while filming movies like “Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman” (1992), “Dil Aashna Hai” (1992), and “Deewana” (1992) with Divya Bharti.
She also recounted a poignant moment when Shah Rukh’s black Gypsy was repossessed due to financial difficulties, leaving him disheartened.
Despite this, Juhi reassured him that he would have many more cars one day, a moment Shah Rukh still remembers.
