Latin pop star Jennifer Lopez and actor-filmmaker Ben Affleck, who recently rekindled their relationship after two decades, have reportedly ended their marriage after just a few months, according to a new report from a foreign celebrity magazine.
Sources close to the couple reveal that they have not been together since March. Despite the separation, Affleck continues to show concern for Lopez, whom he is “still very protective” of.
An insider shared, “The marriage is completely over, and Jennifer is heartbroken. She loves love and wanted this to work so badly.” This comes after Lopez and Affleck, who were previously engaged from 2002 to 2004, announced their engagement in April 2022 and married in July of the same year.
Speculations about their split began when Affleck was seen leaving a separate residence in Brentwood, Los Angeles. Despite attempts to dismiss rumors, the couple was last seen together attending a Seraphina play. However, reports suggest that Affleck now acknowledges that the marriage is over, having “come to his senses.”
Following the cancellation of her ‘This Is Me…Live’ tour in 2025, which Lopez attributed to a desire to spend time with her children, family, and close friends, she took a solo vacation to France and Italy. Meanwhile, Affleck reportedly moved his belongings out of their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion while Lopez was away. The couple is also said to be in the process of selling their marital home.
As of now, neither Lopez nor Affleck has publicly commented on the rumors surrounding their separation.
