Pakistani actress Jawaria Abbasi recently disclosed her marriage in an interview, following her engagement earlier this year. She appeared on a private TV channel where she openly discussed her personal life with longtime friend and actor Shahood Alvi.
During the program, Jawaria revealed that she had married three months ago in a small ceremony with close friends. She expressed her happiness, stating that she is now enjoying a joyful life with her husband.
Explaining the reasons for her decision to marry, Jawaria mentioned that she had shouldered many responsibilities in the past, which had deterred her from considering marriage. However, after her daughter Anzeela’s marriage last year, she found it challenging to live alone. When her current husband proposed, she sought advice from friends and relatives before deciding to tie the knot.
Jawaria also discussed the responsibilities she had managed before her marriage, including caring for her ill mother and father, as well as looking after her daughter and younger sister, Anoushay Abbasi, and a brother.
During the conversation, Jawaria confirmed her younger sister Anoushay Abbasi’s divorce and mentioned that she is now actively looking for a suitable match for her.
Reflecting on how she met her husband, Jawaria shared that they first met at a function, and their relationship blossomed from there, culminating in marriage.
Jawaria Abbasi was previously married to actor Shamoon Abbasi in 1997, with whom she shares a daughter, Anzeela Abbasi. The couple divorced in 2009 after 12 years of marriage. Jawaria announced her engagement on May 5 this year with a photo from the Eiffel Tower in Paris, signaling a new chapter in her life. Now, with her marriage confirmed, she embarks on another new beginning.
