Ali Fazal is set to join Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Raj and DK’s upcoming series “Rakht Brahmand,” according to a report by news agency IANS.
The six-part limited series also features Aditya Roy Kapoor and Wamiqa Gabbi in significant roles. The shoot for the project is scheduled to commence in Mumbai next week. A source close to the production revealed, “Raj & DK’s project is an ambitious venture in the fantasy drama genre.
The cast is finalized, and shooting begins next week. Ali will be filming throughout August while balancing commitments to his other projects. He was drawn to the show’s compelling vision and his character, which offers a fresh challenge both in terms of role and genre.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu has previously collaborated with Raj and DK in “The Family Man – Season 2,” alongside Manoj Bajpayee, and in “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” featuring Varun Dhawan. “Citadel” is a gritty spy action thriller interwoven with a love story, set against the backdrop of the 90s.
In her recent work, Samantha Ruth Prabhu starred in the film “Kushi” alongside Vijay Deverakonda and announced another project titled “Bangaram” on her birthday this year.
