Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film opened with ₹8.3 crore on day one, followed by ₹10.25 crore on day two and ₹11.15 crore on day three.
It saw a slight dip with ₹3.5 crore on day four and ₹3.75 crore on day five, maintaining steady business throughout the week. The film explores the unconventional theme of heteropaternal superfecundation, offering a departure from traditional rom-com narratives.
Influenced by the success of “Good Newwz” (2019), Bad Newz features a star-studded cast including Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk, and Neha Dhupia, with cameo appearances by Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma.
The comedy-drama revolves around a woman (Triptii Dimri) who becomes pregnant with twins fathered by two different men, played by Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk.
