Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has recently encountered a string of box office setbacks with films like SelfieeBade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Sarfira not performing well. Despite these disappointments, Kumar remains driven and optimistic about his career.

In a revealing interview with Forbes, Akshay discussed how he manages failure and stays motivated. He acknowledged the emotional toll of seeing a film fail but emphasized the importance of learning from such experiences. “Every film involves a lot of hard work and passion. It’s disheartening when a film doesn’t succeed, but you have to find the silver lining. Each failure teaches you the value of success and fuels your drive even more,” Akshay explained.

He continued, “I learned early on to handle setbacks. While it’s painful and affects you, it doesn’t alter the film’s outcome. What matters is working harder, making necessary changes, and giving your best to the next project. That’s how I channel my energy and focus on what I can control.”

Akshay credited his discipline and work ethic as key factors in his enduring career. “My discipline and routine have been my greatest strengths. I adhere to a strict schedule for sleeping, eating, and working. Staying fit, both mentally and physically, has also contributed to my longevity in the industry,” he shared.

He also recognized the importance of his fans in his career. “The genuine love for my work and the support from my fans keep me motivated. Knowing that my work impacts many lives fuels my passion and commitment.”

Currently, Akshay’s last film was Sarfira, and he is set to appear in Khel Khel Mein, a family entertainer featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Fardeen Khan. Khel Khel Mein will face off against Stree 2 at the box office on August 15.
