Xiaomi Mix Flip Global Release Details

The Xiaomi Mix Flip was recently introduced in China as the company’s first clamshell-style foldable phone, alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and the Redmi K70 Ultra. This device is anticipated to debut in global markets soon, with a company executive revealing its launch date and retail price.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip is expected to become available in Eastern Europe after August 15, with a projected release in the first half of August.

According to a report from Mobile Bulgaria, the smartphone will be priced at BGN 2,600 (approximately Rs. 1,20,800) in Europe. This price is significantly higher compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which starts at EUR 1,200 (around Rs. 1,09,300) in Europe. In China, the base model of the Mix Flip starts at CNY 5,999 (about Rs. 69,300).

Xiaomi Mix Flip Specifications:

Launched in China on July 19, the Xiaomi Mix Flip operates on HyperOS, which is based on Android 14. It features a 6.86-inch 1.5K (1,224 x 2,912 pixels) flexible AMOLED inner screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 4.01-inch 1.5K (1,392 x 1,280 pixels) AMOLED cover display. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and offers up to 16GB of RAM.

As Xiaomi’s first clamshell-style foldable phone, the Mix Flip includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV60A40 sensor, featuring a telephoto lens with up to 2x optical zoom. The cameras are optimized by Leica. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel OV32B sensor for selfies and video calls.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip provides up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage and supports connectivity options such as 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It houses a 4,780mAh battery that supports 67W charging via Type-C.

Additionally, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security. The phone measures 167.5 x 74.02 x 16.19mm when folded and weighs 192g.
