Indian-origin actor Karan Soni expressed his desire to see Ranveer Singh cast as a Marvel villain. Karan, known for his role as the taxi driver Dopinder in the Deadpool franchise, shared this wish recently.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s “Deadpool & Wolverine” has generated a buzz among Marvel fans globally. Indian fans of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) have particularly enjoyed the action-packed thrill of this superhero adventure. In a recent interview with India Today, Indian-origin actor Karan Soni, who is famous for his role as the taxi driver Dopinder in the Deadpool films, shared his wish to see Ranveer Singh take on a Marvel villain role.
When asked which Bollywood actor he’d like to see in the MCU, Karan Soni responded, “Since Ryan Reynolds mentioned that Ranveer Singh voiced him in the Hindi version of the second Deadpool film, I have to choose Ranveer.
I believe he has everything it takes. Oddly enough, I’d love to see him play a villain because villains seem to have more fun. Ranveer has the energy for it and I think he’d excel in that role. He has the potential to be a major star in Hollywood as well.”
He’ll bring that if he gets to do something here. He’ll bring the Indian culture to the international stage.
