Prominent singer Aima Baig recently stirred concern among her fans with an announcement on Instagram. On Thursday, she revealed that she is leaving Pakistan to travel for Umrah and hinted that she may not return soon.
“Goodbye Pakistan – for a while. I’m going to miss my country since I’ll be away for more than just a week or two or even a month,” she posted, accompanied by an upset face emoji.
She continued, expressing her sadness about leaving and noting that even though she’s unhappy about the situation, she trusts that Allah will ease her mental stress and daily struggles.
In subsequent posts, Baig expressed her sorrow at departing, mentioning that even the clouds seem to be crying over her leaving. However, she later clarified in follow-up videos that she’s not relocating permanently; she’s simply traveling for an extended period due to work commitments.
On a positive note, Baig also shared that her next original single is set to be released on August 18.
