South Indian film actor Vijay Deverakonda unveiled the first look poster for his upcoming film “VD12,” prompting an unexpected reaction from his rumored girlfriend, Rashmika Mandanna. On Instagram, the South star posted a photo of himself, exuding intensity and authenticity in the poster.
In the caption, Vijay Deverakonda wrote, “His destiny awaits. Mistakes. Bloodshed. Questions. Rebirth. March 28, 2025. #VD12.”
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the action film is set to release in theaters on March 28 next year. Reports indicate that over 60 percent of the shooting has been completed, with the production team expected to finish the remaining filming soon.
After the poster’s release, fans swarmed Vijay Deverakonda’s Instagram comments, eagerly expressing their enthusiasm for his distinctive new role.
In January of this year, various Indian media outlets reported that Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were poised to take the next step in their relationship and were planning to exchange rings. It’s noteworthy that Vijay and Rashmika began their relationship while filming ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade,’ following Rashmika’s 2018 breakup with actor-filmmaker Rakshit Shetty.
While some reports suggested the couple split in 2020, subsequent reports indicated that the actors from ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Animal’ were still committed to their relationship.
