Sunidhi Chauhan Praises Pakistani Artists
Indian singer Sunidhi Chauhan recently spoke about her experiences working with Pakistani music artists and the strong bond she has developed with them over the years.In a recent appearance on an Indian YouTuber’s podcast, the “Beedi” singer highlighted the remarkable talent in Pakistan and the deep cultural connections that span across borders.
“I’ve collaborated with many talented artists from Pakistan and have found that we have a lot in common. Our languages, appearances, and even our food and culture are very similar. Whenever I encounter Pakistani friends abroad—in Canada, the US, or the UK—it becomes evident how much alike we are. There is no real difference,” Sunidhi Chauhan shared.
The Indian singer praised the Pakistani music industry for its heartfelt and dedicated approach to creating music.“Pakistani music has truly flourished due to the immense love and dedication put into it.
The industry is vibrant, and their artists are widely celebrated, both in Pakistan and here in India,” she stated. While she acknowledged that Pakistan’s film industry is not as large as India’s, Sunidhi Chauhan highlighted that the Pakistani music scene is thriving thanks to its talented singers.
The 40-year-old also expressed her admiration for Coke Studio Pakistan, sharing her appreciation for hit songs like “Turri Jandi” by Hassan Raheem and Shazia Mansoor.
“I was absolutely amazed by the Coke Studio video for ‘Turri Jandi.’ After watching it, you’ll wonder how they created such a masterpiece. The video’s production is extraordinary, enhancing the already great song. It’s truly delightful. I was genuinely impressed,” Sunidhi Chauhan commented.
Renowned as a powerhouse in the Indian music industry, the singer has delivered numerous hits, including “Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi,” “Dhoom Machale,” “Sheila Ki Jawani,” “Ainvayi Ainvayi,” and “Crazy kiya Re” among others.
