Brad Pitt, George Clooney’s ‘Wolfs’ Sequel Confirmed

Hollywood A-listers Brad Pitt and George Clooney’s reunion action-comedy Wolfs has been officially confirmed for a sequel even before its release. According to a foreign entertainment outlet, Apple Studios has secured a deal with filmmaker Jon Watts to write, direct, and produce a follow-up to his upcoming film Wolfs, which stars the Hollywood icons.

Wolfs marks the first on-screen collaboration between Brad Pitt and George Clooney in 16 years, since their last joint appearance in Joel and Ethan Coen’s black comedy Burn After Reading in 2008.Brad Pitt George Clooney’s ‘Wolfs’ Sequel ConfirmedThe film’s synopsis reveals that Wolfs centers on two professional fixers, Nick (Pitt) and Jack (Clooney), who, despite preferring to work solo, are compelled to team up after being hired for the same job—covering up a high-profile crime.

Apple Original Films’ chief Matt Dentler commented on the title, stating, “Wolfs is the type of major event film that makes Apple TV+ an exceptional platform for top-tier entertainment.”

In addition to Brad Pitt and George Clooney, Jon Watts’ film features Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, Poorna Jagannathan, Richard Kind, and Zlatko Burić in key role. The film will make its debut out of competition at the 81st Venice Film Festival before its limited theatrical release on September 20, followed by a streaming release a week later
