GTA 6 Online Reveals Stunning Feature
Rockstar Games is said to be preparing to unveil a major new feature for Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 Online. According to reports, the publisher initially launched a project to create a mod to compete with FiveM but later abandoned it.
However, Rockstar Games has now resumed work on this project after acquiring the development team responsible for the popular mod.
GTAFocal has reported that this initiative is part of Rockstar’s plans for GTA Online and will significantly incorporate user-generated content through new proprietary modding tools developed by Rockstar.
Earlier reports from GTA Focal highlighted a file found in the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC, discovered by insider Tez2, which indicates that Rockstar Games was developing a mission creator.
This feature is part of Rockstar’s new project and is expected to be integrated into GTA 6 Online in Fall 2024, according to GTAFocal’s sources.
The report also mentioned that introducing this feature to consoles could help sustain the game as updates become less frequent and as the release of GTA 6 approaches. In the meantime, fans are eagerly awaiting the second trailer for the upcoming title, following the release of the first trailer in December 2023.
It’s also worth noting that Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games’ parent company, announced in its May earnings call that GTA 6 is slated for release in Fall 2025.
Since then, the game’s publisher has remained silent about the game’s features or the release date of the second trailer.
Recently, fans have speculated that they may have found a clue about the release date of the next trailer. Last month, Rockstar Games posted a video on Instagram showcasing a pizza delivery scooter in GTA Online.
The scooter’s license plate reads “PIZZ4,” and in the upper left corner, the letters “OCT” are visible. Combining “OCT” with “4,” Grand Theft Auto fans have speculated that the second trailer might be released on October 4.
