Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan recently addressed the persistent rumors about his marriage to actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan during an interview. Holding up his wedding ring, Abhishek confidently asserted, “See, I am still married,” and dismissed the speculation.
In remarks to Bollywood UK media, Abhishek recognized the media’s role in creating stories but noted that such news is often exaggerated. “You need content for your websites or newspapers. It’s part of being a celebrity, and we have to manage it,” he explained.
Rumors about a separation between Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan have been circulating for over a year. Recent speculation was fueled by events such as Anant Ambani’s wedding and reports suggesting that Aishwarya had left the Bachchan residence. Additionally, Amitabh Bachchan’s social media activity, including unfollowing his daughter-in-law, has further contributed to these rumors.
Abhishek and Aishwarya were married in 2007 and have a daughter, Aaradhya, born in 2011.
