Shahzad Nawaz is a skilled Pakistani actor and media personality who initially started his career in advertising. He has been involved with various private channels and was instrumental in launching several, including Nai Baat. Nawaz also co-produced the feature film Chambelli with Abdullah Kadwani.

He made a notable appearance as a voice-over artist in Coke Studio. Recently, he gained significant attention for his role as Mr. Asif in the hit Pakistani drama serial Mein, which was well-received by audiences. Additionally, his performance in the popular drama Let’s Try Mohabbat further established his reputation.

Recently, the actor appeared on Faysal Quraishi’s new podcast, Pressure Buhat Hey. During the episode, he discussed the comparisons drawn between him and Ranbir Kapoor.

In response to Faysal Quraishi’s question about why fans didn’t refer to him as a Pakistani Shahzad Nawaz rather than an older Ranbir Kapoor, Shahzad Nawaz said, “I believe such comparisons should be avoided. My fans have also voiced their concerns about this comparison.

I’m fortunate to have such passionate supporters, even if there are only a few. While people in Pakistan often enjoy such comparisons, this one bothered me.

Instead of being described as a younger Shahzad Nawaz, they called me an older Ranbir Kapoor, which isn’t accurate since I was born before him. Similarly, many prominent Pakistani businessmen like being referred to as the ‘Pakistani Bill Gates’ and take pride in it. We should aim to elevate our own names and be proud of our individual achievements.”
