Ingredients for Cake Base

Butter as required

Almonds (half cut) as required

Ingredients for Cake

Butter 400 g

Sugar 400 g

Vanilla essence 1 tsp

Eggs 6

All-purpose flour 400 g

Baking powder 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Topping

Mixed fruit jam 1/2 cup

Hot water 2 tbsp

Direction

In a cake mold brush butter. Place almonds on it and then sprinkle crushed almonds all over the cake mold. Refrigerate it for 15 mins.

In a bowl add butter, sugar, vanilla essence and beat it well. Add eggs gradually into it now and beat it well.

Add flour, baking powder and fold it with the spatula.

Transfer it to the cake mold that was refrigerated and bake it in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 35-40 mins.

Take it out and cut the uneven top. Invert the cake facing the almond side on top.

In a bowl add jam and hot water. Mix it well. Your topping is ready.

Pour this topping on the cake and serve. Your Almond Cake is ready.
