iPhone 16 Design Leaks: Major Camera Changes
As Apple prepares to unveil the new iPhone 16 models in the coming weeks, leaked images of the flagship model have recently emerged online.
Apple leaker Sonny Dickson has shared images of the upcoming iPhone 16, revealing a significant redesign in the camera layout. The most striking change is the new vertically aligned dual rear camera setup, which replaces the diagonal arrangement seen in the iPhone 15.
Some speculate that this redesign may indicate new features, such as spatial video recording, which is currently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro models.
Dickson previously mentioned that the iPhone 16 will be available in standard colors like white and black, along with pink, blue, and green. Meanwhile, the Pro series is expected to come in white, black, and silver. It’s important to note that the leaked images are of dummy units intended for marketing and retail displays, not the final retail versions.
Users are also curious about the new software and front display, as the leaks only show the rear of the upcoming models.
Additionally, a recent leak hinted at significant battery improvements for the iPhone 16 Pro. According to Weibo leaker Instant Digital, the iPhone 16 Pro will feature a 3,577mAh battery, a 9.25% increase from the 3,274mAh battery in the iPhone 15 Pro. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to receive a smaller battery boost of 5.74%, raising its capacity from 4,422mAh to 4,676mAh.
Earlier rumors also suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro might see a major design overhaul, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max potentially sporting a larger 6.9-inch display, compared to the 6.7-inch display on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
