WhatsApp Adds Favorite Chats Feature
WhatsApp has officially rolled out its long-awaited favorite chats and groups feature for iOS users. The update, version 24.16.79 of WhatsApp for iOS, is now available on the App Store.
According to WABetaInfo, this update allows users to mark specific contacts and groups as favorites, which will be prominently displayed at the top of the calls tab and can be filtered in the chats list. To use this feature, users can navigate to the app settings and open the favorites section, where they can easily add, manage, and reorder their favorites.
Additionally, the update brings an enhanced calling interface with more intuitive and accessible controls. Although the update is available now, some users might see these new features rolled out over the coming weeks, as mentioned in the official changelog. With this new feature, WhatsApp users can now prioritize their most important contacts and groups for quicker access.
