Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo launched his YouTube channel, “UR · Cristiano,” on Wednesday, where he will explore topics such as football, family, and nutrition. Regarded as one of the greatest soccer players ever, Ronaldo holds the title of the most-followed person on social media, with 917 million followers across various platforms.

As the captain of both Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia and the Portugal national team, Ronaldo will use his channel to discuss “family, wellness, nutrition, preparation, recovery, education, and business” with various guests.

Commenting on the launch, the 39-year-old Ronaldo expressed that the project had been a long-time ambition. “Finally, we have the chance to bring it to life. I have always valued my strong connection with fans on social media, and this YouTube channel will provide an even larger platform for that. Fans will get to know more about me, my family, and my perspectives on various topics. In his debut video on ‘UR · Cristiano,’ football star Cristiano Ronaldo rates his best goals from the European Championships. Ronaldo’s illustrious football career, spanning over two decades, includes stints with clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.

Throughout his career, he has amassed 33 trophies, including five UEFA Champions League titles, five Ballon d’Or awards, and a record three UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Awards. He holds records for the most appearances, goals, and assists in both the Champions League and the European Championship, as well as the most international goals and appearances. With over 890 official senior career goals for both club and country, Ronaldo is the all-time top goalscorer.

Earlier this year, Ronaldo was named Forbes’ highest-paid athlete for the fourth time in his career. Following his move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, Ronaldo became the world’s highest-paid athlete, with Forbes estimating his earnings at approximately $260 million, marking a record for a soccer player.
