Indian actor Shreyas Talpade has suggested that BJP MP Kangana Ranaut should be cast in the lead role for the third installment of Allu Arjun’s *Pushpa* series. At the trailer launch of Kangana Ranaut’s debut solo directorial, *Emergency*, where Talpade portrays former Indian PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he explained why he believes Ranaut would be an ideal choice for *Pushpa 3*.
Discussing Ranaut’s commitment to the script, Talpade shared, “When Kangana approached me for the role of Atal ji, I was initially confused and intimidated. I questioned whether I should accept the role or decline, not due to her industry boycott, but because of my own nervousness.”
He continued, “During one rehearsal, I felt I had done well, but as I tried to add something extra during the take, Kangana came up and whispered in my ear, ‘Please stick to what you practiced during rehearsals.’”
Further praising Kangana Ranaut for her exceptional multi-tasking abilities, Shreyas Talpade humorously suggested that she would be a perfect fit for the lead role in the third installment of Allu Arjun’s crime franchise. He remarked, “Given her ability to juggle multiple roles, if they decide to make *Pushpa 3*, Kangana Ranaut would be an ideal choice because she embodies the spirit of ‘Jhukega nahi saala kabhi bhi’ (Won’t bow down, come what may).”
Emergency, which Ranaut directs, produces, and stars in as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, is set to have its worldwide theatrical release on September 6.
