Written by Nasir Adeeb and directed by Bilal Lashari, “The Legend of Maula Jatt” is still playing in some Pakistani cinemas and has grossed over 200 crores. Although the film was initially set to release in India, it was blocked at the time by extremists.
However, there is now a new development: “The Legend of Maula Jatt” is scheduled for release in India under the Zee Films banner on September 20, 2024. If all goes as planned, the film will make its debut in Indian cinemas two years after its global release.
