New Motorola Edge 50 Neo Launched

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has recently debuted in European markets as the latest addition to Motorola’s Edge 50 series. This new model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and features a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia camera. It boasts a 6.4-inch LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.

The Edge 50 Neo also offers IP68 dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability. Alongside the Edge 50 Neo, Motorola has also introduced the Motorola Edge 50 in Europe, which was previously available in India.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is priced at EUR 499 (approximately Rs. 46,000) in Europe and will be released in select markets across Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Oceania in the coming months. It is available in Pantone Grisaille, Pantone Latte, Pantone Nautical Blue, and Pantone Poinciana colors.

The Motorola Edge 50 is priced at EUR 599 (around Rs. 55,000) in Europe and will be launched in Latin America, Asia, and Oceania in the coming weeks. It is already on sale in India for Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo runs on Android 14 with Hello UI and features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ LTPO pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It supports HDR10+ content and holds SGS Blue Light Reduction certification.

The device has a plastic frame and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the screen. It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, and a maximum of 512GB of internal storage.

The camera setup includes a triple rear system with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with PDAF, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens offering up to 3x optical zoom. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It has IP68 water and dust resistance, as well as MIL-810H military-grade certification. The phone includes various sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a SAR sensor. Biometric options consist of an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock via the front camera. The device also features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo houses a 4,310mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging capabilities. It measures 154.1 x 71.2 x 8.1mm and weighs 171 grams.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 AE (Accelerated Edition) chipset and features a triple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel Sony-LYTIA 700C primary sensor. The front camera is 32 megapixels, and the device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.
