‘Jurassic World’ Title and First Look

Universal Pictures has unveiled the first look and title for the upcoming “Jurassic World” film, featuring Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali. Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film is titled “Jurassic World Rebirth” and is set to be released in theaters on July 2, 2025.

The studio has also released two first-look images showcasing the leads: Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali. The cast also includes Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein.

According to the official summary, ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ will continue the story five years after the events of “Jurassic World Dominion,” which came out in June 2022. The previous film featured Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill, who also appeared in “Jurassic Park.”

The synopsis for ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ reveals: “Those that remain exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates similar to their original habitats. The three largest creatures in this tropical biosphere possess a crucial drug with potential life-saving benefits for humanity.”

The film will depict a world where only a few dinosaurs still exist, living in specialized biospheres.In the story, Scarlett Johansson’s character, Zora Bennett, seeks to obtain genetic material from the dinosaurs but finds herself stranded with a civilian family on an island concealing a long-hidden secret.

It’s important to note that ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ is set to be released three years after the conclusion of the ‘Jurassic World’ trilogy, which wrapped up with “Dominion” in 2022. Each film in the trilogy has exceeded $1 billion at the global box office.
