Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s upcoming film, Hero No 1, has been put on indefinite hold following the box office failures of his last three movies.

Reports from Indian entertainment sources indicate that the project, which was an action-packed thriller directed by Jagan Shakti (known for Mission Mangal), has been shelved after completing 20% of its shoot.

This decision came in the wake of significant losses incurred by Vashu Bhagnani’s production house, Pooja Entertainment, with their recent release, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

A source close to the production revealed, “The film, produced by Vashu Bhagnani, had completed 20% of its shoot. The remaining portions were scheduled to be filmed after the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in April. However, BMCM resulted in substantial losses for Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment.”

The insider added, “They are heavily in debt and cannot afford to continue funding Hero No 1. As a result, the project is effectively shelved.”A trade expert commented on the situation, noting, “Tiger Shroff’s last three films have been major flops, and his high fees, along with the costs of his entourage, have further strained the producers’ finances.

“Projects such as Screw Dheela and Rambo, featuring Tiger Shroff, have previously been placed on indefinite hold.Despite this, the actor still has Singham Again directed by Rohit Shetty and the fourth installment of the Baaghi series lined up.
