Showbiz starlet Naeema Butt, known for her role as Rubab in the hit serial “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum,” recently opened up about the challenges she’s faced in her career due to her stunning long hair.
In a new interview with her co-star Emmad Irfani, Naeema revealed that she has often been advised to cut her hair for a more contemporary look, as shorter hair is considered easier to style.
“I’ve always faced this issue in the industry because of my long hair,” she explained. “I’ve been told many times to chop it off, but I never took that advice seriously because my hair is very special to me, whether I’m in New York or here in Pakistan.”
She shared that she once had knee-length hair but has trimmed it slightly. “With a heavy heart, I got it cut, and it’s shorter than usual right now,” she noted.
Currently, Naeema is receiving acclaim for her portrayal of Rubab Mansoor Khan in the blockbuster “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum,” which stars Fahad Mustafa, Hania Aamir, and Emmad Irfani.
The series, directed by Badar Mehmood and written by renowned playwright Farhat Ishtiaq, airs every Monday and Tuesday in prime time on ARY Digital.
