Ingredients

Ingredients for Chicken Marination

Chicken 1 kg

Black pepper (crushed) 1 tbsp

Cumin seeds (crushed) 1/2 tbsp

Salt 1/2 tbsp

White pepper powder 1 tsp

Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Onion Paste

Oil 3 tbsp

Onion (sliced) 1 cup

Garlic (cloves) 3-4

Green chilies (half cut) 1-2

Ginger pods 1-2

Yogurt 1 ½ cup

Ingredients for White Chicken Karahi

Oil 1/2 cup

Marinated chicken

Prepared onion puree

Cream 1/2 cup

Green chilies (sliced) as required

Green coriander as required

Direction

In a bowl add chicken, black pepper, cumin seeds crushed, salt, white pepper powder, lemon juice and mix it well. Set aside.

In a pan heat oil and add onion, garlic, ginger, green chilies and cook until onion gets soft.

Now transfer it to a blender and add yogurt. Blend it well into smooth puree. Set aside.

In a pot heat oil and add chicken. Cook for 4-5 mins.

Add onion puree and cover and cook until chicken is fully done. Add cream at the end and cook for 2-3 mins.

Lastly garnish it with green chilies, green coriander and serve. Your White Chicken Karahi is ready.
