Poonam Pandey, the model and actor who recently caused a stir nationwide by falsely announcing her death, has made new claims.
Following the aftermath of the incident, Pandey has stated that certain individuals have profited financially from the entire ordeal.
In a detailed statement posted on her official social media account, Pandey expressed satisfaction that her message had reached numerous people, achieving her main goal of raising awareness about cervical cancer.
She wrote on her Instagram, “I’m glad that my post managed to reach many people and raise awareness about cervical cancer, which was my only intention.”
However, she expressed disappointment at the exploitation of the situation for financial gain. “What saddened me is that some people benefited financially and used my cause as a pretext. Nevertheless, I will always support it and continue to lend my support, now and in the future.
However, it’s up to you all to investigate who turned it into a commercial venture,” she added
