Balkur Singh and Charan Singh, parents of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, recently welcomed a new addition to their family.
Balkur Singh, approximately 50 years old, took to Facebook to share the joyous news and express gratitude to Sidhu Moose Wala’s fans for their support and prayers.
In his post, Balkur Singh shared a heartfelt message alongside a photo of himself with the newborn, as well as one with Sidhu Moose Wala, captioned “legends never die.”
He confirmed the good health of both mother and child and extended his thanks to well-wishers for their support during this time. However, he did not disclose the name of the newborn.
This announcement comes after Balkur Singh previously denied rumors about his wife’s pregnancy, emphasizing that any significant news would be shared directly with their supporters.
Sidhu Moose Wala, born Shobhadeep Singh Sidhu on June 11, 1993, in Mansa, Punjab, India, was the only son of Balkur Singh and Charan Singh.
He gained global acclaim for his Punjabi singing but tragically passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 28, after being fatally shot by assailants in the Mansa district. His untimely death left his family, friends, and fans devastated.
Balkur Singh was deeply affected by the loss of his son, expressing profound grief and questioning the senselessness of the tragedy. Following Sidhu Moose Wala’s death, the Punjab police took swift action, detaining eight individuals on various charges related to the murder.
Among them, some were arrested on suspicion of espionage, providing logistical support, and harboring the singer’s attackers. The police reported that four suspects directly involved in the crime had been identified.
