Fawad Khan, a renowned Pakistani actor known for his roles in television and film, initially gained fame as the vocalist of the popular rock band EP.
However, he skyrocketed to stardom with his breakthrough performances in blockbuster dramas like “Humsafar” and “Zindagi Gulzar Hai” on Hum TV. While he appeared in dramas such as “Ashk,” “Akbari Asghari,” and “Kuch Pyar Ka Pagal Pan Bhi Tha,” Fawad Khan hasn’t been seen in Pakistani dramas since “Zindagi Gulzar Hai.”
Currently, he’s making waves with his involvement in various Pakistani and international series, including “Barzakh” and “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo.” Additionally, reports suggest he’s working on an Indian series.
Recently, during an episode of Something Haute’s show “Haute Review,” hosted by Hassan Choudhry and Amna Isani, journalist Amna Isani shared exclusive details about Fawad Khan’s upcoming Indian series.
She revealed that Fawad will be starring in a high-budget production, portraying the role of a polo player trainer.
The series, written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Asim Raza, is being produced by Misbah Shafique, who has previous experience with Zee 5.
It’s set to be aired or released on Sony Life. The ensemble cast includes names like Sanam Saeed, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Hira Khan, and others. Shot in locations spanning London, Islamabad, and Chitral, Fawad Khan will be seen as the Chitrali Nawab, guiding polo players, while Sanam Saeed is speculated to play the role of a British character.
