Realme Gt 6 Set To Launch With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 And 120w Charging Support
Realme GT 6 is scheduled to be officially launched in the Chinese market on July 7, and as the date approaches, Realme has released several teasers on Weibo revealing key specifications and design elements of its new flagship.
The Chinese version of Realme GT 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and features a new display by BOE. It boasts a 5,800mAh battery with support for 120W charging.
The handset has also been spotted on the TENAA website under the model number RMX3800. Realme GT 6 is already available in India and select global markets.
The latest teasers from Realme on Weibo confirm that the upcoming Realme GT 6 will indeed feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and an S1+ 8T LTPO display by BOE, protected by newly developed crystal armour glass to prevent scratches.
This new screen is said to enhance touch accuracy and perform well in low brightness conditions. The display is claimed to achieve 6,000nits of peak brightness and 1,600nits in auto mode.
Realme GT 6 will be offered in Light Year White and Storm Purple color options. Additionally, Realme will launch a special Moon Exploration edition with a black finish and a star track texture design.
The upcoming Realme GT 6 will include a 5,800mAh dual-cell Silicon-Carbon battery with support for 120W SuperVOOC charging. Realme claims the battery will last for four years, and the fast-charging technology can charge the battery from 0 to 50 percent in just 12 minutes.
For comparison, the variant available in India features a 5,500mAh battery with the same 120W fast charging support.
Further details about the Realme GT 6 have emerged from its appearance on TENAA. The model number RMX3800 is listed with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 1,264×2,800 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz.
It will be available with RAM options ranging from 8GB to 24GB and storage options from 128GB to 1TB, powered by an octa-core processor.
According to the listing, the Realme GT 6 will sport a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
It measures 162.02 x 76.07 x 8.43mm and weighs 206.7 grams. Early photos of the phone are also included in the alleged listing.
The Realme GT 6 is currently priced starting from Rs. 40,999 in India and is set to launch in China on July 9 at 2pm local time (11:30am IST). As the launch date approaches, more details about the phone are expected to surface online.
